Technical Assistance to Business Groups


RailThrough a grant from the City of Chicago Department of Planning and Development, Ravenswood Community Council works with local chambers of commerce and the Alderman to ensure the continuing health of our business community. We achieve this by providing technical assistance to local businesses, linking business owners with resources they need to remain viable.

Retail 47

In addition to assisting existing businesses, RCC also works to encourage new desirable business in Ravenswood by keeping a database of vacant property available to entrepreneurs looking to start or expand their business. This work is part of the Retail 47 program through the office of Alderman Eugene Schulter which attempts to match available space with entrepreneurs interested in the 47th Ward.
