Programs

As part of our commitment to the Ravenswood community, Ravenswood Community Council administers Greater Ravenswood Special Service Area #31. This special district extends from Leavitt Street to Clark Street on Lawrence Avenue, from Ainslie Street to Montrose Avenue on Clark, from Clark to Seeley on Montrose, from Wilson Avenue to Argyle Street on Damen, from Hermitage to Damen on Wilson and from Addison to Lawrence on Ravenswood.

Greater Ravenswood Special Service Area #31 is interested in reducing and eliminating the amount of graffiti and glass scratching that has affected storefronts and other buildings throughout our neighborhood. To do so, SSA #31 is now offering a reimbursement. SSA #31 will reimburse 75-percent of the cost of graffiti/scratch removal. SSA #31 will reimburse 50-percent of the cost of film installation and/or glass replacement. A maximum of $1,000 will be spent per location each year.

RCC's Housing Resource Center is a delegate agency of the City of Chicago Department of Housing. As a delegate agency, RCC provides our community with information on housing-related issues, problem solving, community events, workshops and housing fairs to assist low-moderate income homeowners.
