Glass Etching Removal and Film Installation Program

Greater Ravenswood Special Service Area #31 is interested in reducing and eliminating the amount of graffiti and glass scratching that has affected storefronts and other buildings throughout our neighborhood. To do so, SSA #31 is now offering a reimbursement. SSA #31 will reimburse 75-percent of the cost of graffiti/scratch removal. SSA #31 will reimburse 50-percent of the cost of film installation and/or glass replacement. A maximum of $1,000 will be spent per location each year.

To qualify for assistance, the property must be located within the boundaries of SSA #31. The general boundaries include properties located on Clark (from Lawrence to Montrose), Lawrence (from Leavitt to Clark), Damen (from Argyle to Montrose), Wilson (from Hermitage to Damen), Montrose (from Clark to Seeley) and the Ravenswood Corridor (from Addison to Lawrence).
