Bells of Ravenswood
Please check out the information on this years "Bells of Ravenswood". Our inaugural event will have the opportunity to evolve next year and carry us down a different path. If you are interested in the History of Ravenswood and helping with an event such as this, please contact us at sheila@ravenswoodcommunity.org. We could really use some docents and actors so we can take smaller groups out at timed intervals.
A neighborhood walking tour that celebrates the spiritual life of Ravenswood, significant architecture of the area and memorializes the lives lost on 9-11-2001. Please join us at the corner of Wilson and Hermitage at All Saints at 2:45pm on September 11, 2011, and traipse with us through Ravenswood to Northcenter's Coonley School garden for the Memorial with Alderman Ameya Pawar and then we will finally ring the newly restored bells at St. Benedicts. $10 suggested donation which will be given to All Saints and St. Benedict Churches.
